This little Motel in Santa Fe is a jewel. It may not look very appealing on the outside. It is deceiving. But, what a great adventure. It is very vintage. It is very clean and nostalgic. One of the advantages of this Motel is the affordable price. Our stay at this Motel was very economical . The rooms are adorable. The beds are comfortable. All of the linen smelled wonderful. The whole room smelled wonderful. We had the best time on this little trip at this certain Motel. I definitely recommend this motel. We do wish that they had ice readily available. You have to ask for ice. It is not convenient that way because the office does close. Also, pay attention to the step down and up to get in and out of the door of your room. We were not accustomed to that little step, and we could trip very easily. The bathroom was clean, the room was clean, and it was such a great experience. We will definitely return.

As an older property, I was pleased with how clean and well maintained everything was, while keeping it's old style. Not all of the rooms are the same, but I really appreciated the carport. I had a coffee machine, microwave, and mini-fridge. The school across the street is very low profile, so you get a great view of the sky and sunsets from the hotel property. (Photo attached) There are a couple good breakfast places within walking distance, and a gas station (0.3 miles) but past that you may want a car. It's on a main road and 10-15 minutes from downtown Santa Fe.

Awesome location just a few minutes from lovely downtown Santa Fe and how can you pass up such an iconic neon sign! Nostalgic motel that gives a sense of travelling in the old days. We loved the carport right next to our door - it felt safe and it was very convenient. Would stay here again.

Family Owned and Operated

Originally built by the King family, the King's Rest Court Inn has the Santa Fe charm. Operated by the Bhakta family since 1981 with traditional rooms, original doors and one of a kind carports. Our neon sign was hand built right next door and was the first freestanding sign of its kind in Santa Fe.  It has been a feature luring photographers from all over the world.
